Exhibition of artworks by Spyridon Mouratidis
In The Debt, Mouratidis explores a time in Corfu during the 1920s when many refugee women had to leave their children at an orphanage, the Monastery of the two Saints Theodore. The mothers were left with the unthinkable task of having to abandon their children, hoping to take them back as soon as they would be able to provide for their livelihood.
