Discussion facilitated by Dr Helen Vatsikopoulos

1453, 1821, 1919-22, 1974. All these dates are seared into the minds of Greeks and Turks. How potent is memory and how important is it to look forward? This event will bring together people from the Greek and Turkish diaspora in a discussion on important themes  that unite and divide us. In response to the 200th anniversary of the Revolution a panel of scholars and community leaders will discuss the past and future of relations between the two countries.

Greek and Turkish music and food will complement the discussion.
